Empowering Elderly Farmers for Improved Livelihoods (2E-FILS) Project

The 2E-FILS Project supports elderly smallholder farmers in the Bawku West District to enhance their livelihoods and food security through poultry production and consumption. Elderly farmers received pullets and cockerels as part of efforts to strengthen household nutrition and income. IDEAS Ghana uses this project to empower vulnerable groups particularly the elderly to:

1. Improve Health (Physical Exercise
2.  Improve Soil Health
3. Improve Nutrition (nutritious diet)
4.  Improve yields
